Sometimes the gentlest pace is the most transformative. 💛
When it comes to condemnation, God makes His heart for us very clear. Romans 8:1 tells us there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. John 3:17 adds that God didn’t send His Son to condemn the world, but to save it.

Today you would’ve been 92 today. 

I’m thankful for the years I had the privilege of calling you my bonus dad. 

You are still remembered and loved and every time I’m at the lake, I can’t help but remember how much you loved
Your triggers aren’t weaknesses. They’re invitations to pay attention to unhealed places with tenderness.

Thank your body for surviving. Then invite it to soften. 💛

Shame hits the body hard, activating the same regions in the brain as physical pain. 💔

But God offers something different: “Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.” (Psalm 34:5) 📖 ✨
