When a friend made this photo of adult me hugging little me, it brought a tear to my eye. 

Not of sadness, but of joy. Looking at the photo, I felt like it represented taking responsibility for her - for the ways she was harmed, and healing the harm
The other day, I was emailing with a friend about topics for upcoming articles when she said something that stopped me in my tracks.

“Gina, I wish you would write something about learning how to delight. I’ve realized that I feel guilty

26 years ago today I had my last (and best!) first date.
